- Google Gemini API: For generating autocomplete suggestions (your prompts are sent to Google's AI API)
- MongoDB: For storing user authentication data and usage statistics
- Vercel & Railway: For hosting our services
These services process data solely to provide Lintly's functionality and are bound by their own privacy policies.
Data Storage and Security
Your authentication tokens are stored locally in your browser using Chrome's storage API. User data and usage statistics are stored securely in our MongoDB database. We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data.
Data Retention
We retain your account information and usage data as long as you have an active Lintly account. If you wish to delete your account and associated data, please contact us.

Lintly requests the following Chrome permissions:
- activeTab: To inject autocomplete features into ChatGPT
- storage: To store your authentication tokens and preferences locally
- Host permissions (ChatGPT): To add autocomplete functionality to ChatGPT
